Where do I go and who do I call if I’m having SUID issues?

The second floor of Steele Hall (on the Quad near Hendricks Chapel) is home to the Housing, Meal Plan and ID Card Services office. They can help you if you’ve lost your SUID, if your SUID is no longer swiping, etc.  They can be reached over the phone at  315-443-2726.

What can the Main Desk do for me?

Man, talk about a loaded question.

Among other things, the main desk can: provide you with a spare key, be a place to sign out equipment (board games, vacuums, pool cues), sort your mail / allow you to pick up your packages, refund you if the laundry or vending machine eats your money, answer any questions you aren’t quite sure of about SU life.

The desk is open everyday from 8 a.m. to midnight (package pickup hours from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.). You can reach the Kimmel main desk at 315-443-3103 and the Booth main desk at 315-443-1961. All personnel at the desk are SU students and the Main Desk Assistant position is open to any student with Federal Work Study (ask your ARD about it and look for help wanted signs).

Can anyone just get into BKM? Can my friends come to visit me?

For non-SU guests, check out SU’s Guest Policy and make sure to register your guest (via the link on the right).

For SU students who don’t live in BKM, you may have friends come to the building. From 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., Resident Security Assistants monitor who enters the hall by checking SUIDs for the specific hall sticker. You may sign in up to three guests who aren’t BKM residents during that times. Just note however, you are responsible for the actions and behaviors of your guests.

Am I allowed to ___________ ?
